Dopravný podnik už dlhodobo nevypravuje niektoré spoje trolejbusových liniek z dôvodu nedostatku pojazdných vozidiel a po vyradení väčšieho počtu trolejbusov sa tento nedostatok ešte zvýrazní. Dlhšími intervalmi medzi spojmi na uvedených linkách dopravný podnik zníži počet potrebných trolejbusov do každodennej výpravy. Otázkou však zostáva, prečo namiesto chýbajúcich trolejbusov nebudú nasadené kĺbové autobusy, ktorých napríklad vozovňa Jurajov dvor má ešte niekoľko v rezerve, prípadne dočasné riešenie v podobe nákupu či prenájmu ojazdených vozidiel. Náhle vyradenie kĺbových trolejbusov sa v Bratislave udialo aj pred 15 rokmi, kedy po zlomení nápravy trolejbusu Škoda - Sanos bola úplne zastavená premávka týchto veľkokapacitných trolejbusov." Vyslovene my to nedalo, zobral som do ruky pero, papier, kalkulačku a grafikon. Keď  som si prepočítal koľko vozov treba na aké linky, prišiel som na celkom zaujímavé výsledky. Aby som bol konkrétny:

čísla pod kolónkou týždeň a víkend udávaju potrebný počet vozidiel na zabezpečenie obsluhy všetkých liniek. cez týždeň treba vypraviť spolu 95 vozidiel s oboch bratislavských vozovní. na stránke imhd.sk je však uvedené že DPB a.s. je schopný vypraviť spolu 115 trolejbusov. preto prichádza do úvahy zaujímavá otázka, že prečo DPB dlhodobo nevypravuje viaceré poradia na niektoré linky???

podľa mojich výpočtov je k dispozícií ešte 20 zvyšných trolejbusov. s toho keď odpočítam ešte záložné vozidlá, ktoré DPB už taktiež nevypravuje, ale zaradil ich do normálneho zadelenia výpravy vozidiel, tak je mi stále nejasné že kam sa zvyšné vozy podeli.  podľa informácií DPB nevypravuje presne 10 vozidiel, takže tým sa číslo 20 zvyšných vozidiel rozširuje až na 30!!!!
